On 25 June, The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held in Kyzyl-Tash Turk zinc-lead-copper mine, Tuva, Russia. Sholban Kara-ool, Chairman of Republic of Tuva, Russia, Zhaojie, Assistant to vernor of Heilongjiang Province, Wang Jianhua, President of Zijin Mining Group(hereafter “Zijin”), and Mayun, Chairman of Longxing Group.etc, attended the ceremony.

Kyzyl-Tash Turk Zinc-Lead Multi-Metal Mine is a high-quality, super-large Multi-Metal Mine with metal resource of approximately 1.6 million tonnes, including 1.3 million tonnes of Zinc, 200,000 tonnes of lead, 80,000 tonnes of copper, and with annual processing capability of over 1 million tonnes.

Sholban Kara-ool said, “as the largest enterprise of mining and processing, Longxing Co.,Ltd is owned by Zijin and is one of the earliest and best example of cooperation in mining industry between China and Russia. Thisproduction is a new beginning for mining industry in Tuva and will make great contribution to local economy and employment. We sincerely hope that Longxing Co.,Ltd will do their best and bring broader cooperation in mining area. ”

Mr. Wang Jianhua expressed that” Zijin will seize the opportunity of close cooperation and development between China and Russia, and create Tuva project into a od example for environmental protection, friendships, od value and unity between China and Russia.”

During the ceremony, Sholban Kara-ool,Chairman of Republic of Tuva signed the Agreement for Improving and Participating the Social and Economic Development of Republic of Tuva in 2015 with Longxing Co.,Ltd, and granted certificates of honor to individuals with great contributions to the project.
