On October 14-15^th, Zijin Mining held the fifth science and technology conference. This conference focuses on innovation, green development and world-leading technology, aiming to build up an International mining group with high technology and efficiency.

Mr. Chen Quanxun, President of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, and Mr. Yu Qinghe, Vice president and Secretary General of China Mining Association, and about 140 other internal and external experts attended the conference.

Mr. Chen Quanxun said, Zijin Mining, as one of the leading companies in Chinese non-ferrous metals industry, has made great achievements through its own technology innovation.

Mr. Yu Qinghe stressed, Zijin has become a leader in Chinese mining industry, and he wished Zijin could keep itself innovative and put China's technological strategies into practice, promoting the development of mining industry.

Zijin's core competitiveness is innovation, said Mr. Chen Jinghe, chairman of Zijin Mining. He said, 'Relying on the technology innovation, Zijin will accelerate to realizing the new breakthrough during the internationalized development. We believe innovation is the driving force for a company while the green development is the perpetual pursuit. And we will attempt to share ‘Zijin case’ and ‘Zijin’s Intelligence’ for the development of global mining.’

New technological results and reflections on exploration, mining, ore processing and metallurgy, as well as mining economy are shared on the conference.
