Zijin News - On July 27th, Zijin Mining’s 2022 Aurum Graduates Orientation Program was opened in the company’s Headquarters in Shanghang. Zou Laichang, President of Zijin Mining, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. He encouraged the graduates to be bold and brave, and help build a bright future for the company.

Since 2017, Zijin has been recruiting graduates from universities in China and abroad under the Aurum Graduates Program. It has been upgraded to the “1, 000 Strong Program” in 2022 and nearly 1,300 graduates from 17 countries have been recruited this year, a new record for Zijin.

President Zou said though mining involves working in less-than-optimal conditions, it’s a great industry for those who want to make a difference. He noted that mining has an important role to play in our times and Zijin is experiencing “leapfrog growth”, opening up broad room for employees to grow.

He encouraged the graduates to carry forward the Zijin spirit, stay hungry for knowledge and skills, and adapt to the pace of work in the company. By pursuing professional growth and creating value, the graduates can realize their own value and inject strong impetus to Zijin’s push to become a “green, high-tech, leading global mining company”.
