Zijin News - On September 13, the National Consulting Center of Colombia released the latest Brújula Minera(Mining Compass) report, in which Zijin’s local affiliate Continental Gold was ranked 6th among the country’s top 10 Mining Companies with the Best Reputations in 2022.

The rankings in the report were based on a poll that assessed public opinion toward mining companies in Colombia. The survey included hundreds of people, ranging from opinion leaders, government officials and mining workers to members of the public.

Continental Gold has been in the top 10 of the list for six years in a row since 2017 and has been moving up the ladder steadily, which reflects broad recognition of Continental Gold’s good practices in technology, business operation, and sustainability.

The company’s ranking of 6th place this year is the same as that in 2021.

Released annually in collaboration with major consulting firms in Colombia, the rankings are considered authoritative and influential.
