From August 20 to 31, 2024, 48 international employees from 12 overseas projects in 11 countries gathered at Zijin Mining's headquarters in Shanghang, Fujian, China, for the company's 2024 "Zijin Deep Dive" training program.
As a global mining company, Zijin Mining is committed to its "localization" employment policy, placing significant emphasis on building a diverse corporate culture and nurturing talent from various nationalities and ethnic backgrounds.
During the two-week training, employees participated in comprehensive learning sessions covering areas such as Zijin Mining's corporate culture, global operational development plans, environmental and ecological management, technological innovation, and ESG system development. The program also included courses on Chinese culture, providing participants with a deeper understanding of China and Zijin.
"Through the Chinese language and culture courses, we gained new insights into Chinese culture, language, literature, and people. I believe this will greatly benefit our future work," commented one international employee.
Throughout the training, participants visited Zijin Mining projects in Shanghang, including the Zijinshan Gold and Copper Mine, Zijin Copper, and Zijin Lithium, experiencing firsthand the company's advancements in automation, information technology, and green, intelligent mining operations.

I'm grateful for the enriching experience that has enhanced my professional journey," reflected Nuraliev from Zeravshan, Zijin’s subsidiary in Tajikistan.
Jumal Jacobus from Aurora Gold Mine, Zijin’s project in Guyana, added that the program provided participants with fresh perspectives on cross-cultural communication and a deeper understanding of the Group's vision and goals, laying a solid foundation for all international projects to achieve a common aspiration.
