On October 30, the Zijinshan Gold-Copper Mine, a subsidiary of Zijin Mining, held its 2024 Staff Sports Meet. More than 300 athletes from various departments of the mine participated in 13 events across three types of sports, showcasing unity and a competitive spirit.

The events included track and field competitions such as the 4×200 meter relay, men's 800 meter run, women's 400 meter run, and standing long jump, as well as fun activities like the all-staff relay and tug-of-war. The 6-kilometer run tested participants’ stamina, while the tug-of-war generated cheers and excitement. Participants pledged to carry the enthusiasm from the sports meet into their work, focusing on “improving quality, controlling costs, and boosting profitability”, and excelling in safety, environmental protection, production upgrades, and research.
